The Office of the Provost sent this alert at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12:

Dear Campus Community,

Due to the predicted snow accumulation that will take place this afternoon, we are canceling classes and all other campus events as of 1:30 p.m. today.

Students, please watch for information from your instructors about alternate arrangements for classes scheduled for this afternoon. Faculty and staff should prioritize their safety regarding traveling today and can work with their supervisors to determine coverage for campus offices.

Campus dining will operate on adjusted hours starting at 2 p.m. Retail locations will close at that time, while the Caf and Red Zone will remain open until 6 p.m. Students who typically eat on campus later in the evening are encouraged to plan ahead.

Hedberg Library will be open until 4:00 p.m. and the bookstore will also close at 2 p.m. We plan for all classes and activities to resume on Thursday morning and for all food outlets to operate normally as of tomorrow morning as well.
